The Newtown Cultural Arts Commission is kicking off the upcoming Newtown Arts Festival 2012 with an art contest!
The art contest is open to all ages of Newtown residents, including students, amateurs and professionals, using the theme, "Life in Newtown". Artwork must be submitted from February 1, 2012 - February 29, 2012, at Koenig's Frameworks, Newtown. The winning illustration will be used to promote the festival.
The Newtown Arts Festival 2012 will spotlight local musicians, artists, and arts organizations, and provide old-fashioned family fun the weekend of September 15 & 16, 2012 at the Fairfield Hills Campus.
