The main intersection in Sandy Hook Village looks a little different now.
The telephone pole in the center of the road where Riverside meets Glen and Berkshire was removed today as work continues to improve traffic flow and the pedestrian streetscape. There are minor traffic delays due to the construction.
One worker said he would guess that the telephone pole had been there for at least 50 years.
