Viewfinder: Rise and Shine
In case you missed it, we capture the sunrise around Newtown in a couple of spots.
On a chilly, winter morning, I brave the outside at 6:15 am and head to Castle Hill to catch nature in all its glory. I take a drive to Taunton Lake and then up Birch Hill Road back through Dodgingtown for a few more.
The progression of a sunrise is slow at the break of dawn with a soft glow of light across the hills and plains. The sun begins to rise and in what seems to be the span of a deep breath, it rises and crests over the hills of Newtown. We bask in the warmth and rays of this glorious, daily event.
