Queen Street Speed Tables: Helpful or Headache?

Residents have wildly divergent feelings about the recently finished speed tables, but what do you think?

Chances are you've had a chance to drive over the new speed tables across Queen Street. Some Newtown residents have taken to the Newtown Patch boards to voice their satisfaction (or displeasure.)

"Get used to it," reader "E" said in a post on the boards, calling out residents who "feel it necessary to honk your horn at the queen street speed bumps."

"Finally children on this street can begin to play in their front yards," he said. "You're the ones who made the speed bumps necessary, so get used to them or take south Main Street."

But some readers took the post as an inspiration to voice their irritation.

"Thanks for the idea of honking my horn at every speed bump on Queens Street!" said "Common Sense" in a reply.

What do you think -- do you like the new speed tables? Are you glad to have them keeping Queen Street safe, or do you think they're an unnecessary irritation? Let us know in the comments.
