Newtown Parks and Rec Presents Free Concerts and Summer Fun
Newtown Parks and Rec presents three fun-filled musical events for kids and families of all ages.
Newtown families are in for a real treat this Tuesday, July 22. The Bari Koral Family Rock Band is ready to entertain at 12:30 p.m. at the bandshell at Dickinson Park as part of the Claris Construction Inc. Summer Jam Concert Series .
The Bari Koral Family Rock Band is described as alternative rock with kid-friendly lyrics. Bring a blanket, lunch and friends to this free concert event.
On Thursday, July 24 the Newtown Savings Bank Summer Concert Series continues at 6:30 p.m. with a performance by The Goldrush Band. Barbecue from Butcher's Best Market will be available.
On Saturday, July 26 at 11:00 a.m., the Dickinson FunSpace II Playground Celebration with be held with entertainment provided by the Ben Rudnick & Friends band.
