Lights Return to Main Street

For the first time in days, Route 25 in Newtown was fully lit from one end of town to the other.

For the first time in days, lights at the C.H. Booth Library came on at night as power was restored to parts of the borough, Tuesday. Aug. 30. The library has been closed for days, and with the electricity restored, opened on Wednesday. The library's wireless Internet service has not been restored yet, however.
