Have You Seen Poppy? Newtown Dog Lost in the Snow

A Newtown dog is lost in the snow tonight, and her owners are hoping to find her. Newtown-based organization The Animal Center provided this information about Poppy on Facebook Tuesday afternoon:

"Poppy went missing yesterday morning. No luck at the shelters & vets. Last seen at 16 Taunton Hill Road, Newtown. She has an electric fence collar on."

Poppy's owner, Yolie Moreno, says the dog was last seen Monday morning. Her owners spent today searching for her, to no avail. Poppy was a rescue dog, originally found living in a mine shaft, so her owners are hopeful she'll be able to weather the snow, but she needs to come home soon.

If you spot Poppy, call Yolie Moreno at 203-426-0302.
