Tron Legacy (PG)
Where/When:  Edmond Town Hall Theater, Fri - Sun, 7 p.m., 9:15 p.m.; Mon - Thu, 7 p.m.; Matinees: Fri - Mon, 1 p.m., 4 p.m.; Tue, 1 p.m.
Why Go: The kids are on break, so get out of that house!

• Shamrock Traditional Irish Music Society presents
Where/When: , Fri, 8p.m. - 10 p.m.
Why Go: Irish musicians will bring the sounds of Ireland to Newtown.

• Drop-In Storytimes
Where/When:  Woodbury Library, every Fri, 10:30 a.m.
Why Go:  Get toddlers interested in books early. For ages 3 - 5.

Guitar: The Instrument that Rocked the World
Where/When: Bridgeport Discovery Musem, on exhibit from Feb. 15 to May 15
Why Go: View more than 40 historically significant guitars, see live guitar-making demonstrations, live performances and hands-on learning about the science of accoustics and the evolution of the guitar.
Pricing: Members, Free; Adults, $9.50; Children 3 - 17, $8; Under 3, free.

I goggled the Connecticut Council on Freedom of Information and they are indeed nothing more than a non-profit group. They are not a government agency. And an inept one - their own website is a mess. Town Clerk Aurelia is already causing the town to needlessly spend money defending her derelictionRead More of duty: "An attorney representing the town, with the law firm Cohen and Wolf, issued an opinion in response to the, (New York), Post's request stating that the public is only allowed to view death and marriage certificates that are "at least one hundred years old." Cost aside she is pushing for a state law that would restrict access to a minors birth certificate for 6 months, she originally wanted them sealed for 10 years. The only thing the proposed law is going to accomplish is the healing that has been accomplished is going to be undone when the seal expires.
