Newtown Parks and Recreation is out today to add a little green to your daily commute.
Patch found Parks and Rec employees planting a row of boxwood hedges in front of the Oakview Athletic Field on Wasserman Way. It's part of a project paid for by the Newtown Parks and Recreation Department's surcharge fund, scheduled for completion this fall.
