Looking for good activities for the family today? Here's a look at a few things happening around town on Wednesday, July 17:
- The Hearts of Hope project meets at Newtown United Methodist Church to paint hearts for Prescott, Arizona.
"The clay hearts, painted by young and old and accompanied by a personal message by the heart's painter, are hand tied with ribbon, beautifully packaged, and then hung for people to find in locations in need of physical and/or emotional healing," says the organization.
- The Summer Jam series continues at Dickinson Park with children's performer Amy Rogell. This Newtown Parks and Recreation program is free for all and suited for kids.
- Nothing beats free! It's the last day of the Booth Library Sale, and it's a free day. Drop by and pick up some books for yourself.
