The Watermark at East Hill to Host 22nd Annual Book & Author Luncheon

On Wednesday, May 14, The Watermark at East Hill will host its 22nd annual Book & Author Luncheon featuring Roxbury author George Feifer. The event will begin at noon at the senior living community, located at 611 East Hill Road in Southbury. The fee to attend is $25, with all proceeds benefitting the East Hill Library Fund.

 

“We are thrilled to continue this long-standing tradition of inviting local authors to share their stories and experiences with our residents and guests,” said Michelle Bettigole, Executive Director of The Watermark at East Hill. “By attending, guests will also support the The East Hill Library Fund, which helps maintain the library here at our community.”

George Feifer is the author of The Girl from Petrovka and Moscow Farewell. He has spent years chronicling the Cold War in books, screenplays and articles. Feifer has earned advanced degrees in Soviet Studies, and served as a guide for an American National Exhibition in Moscow in 1959.
