Attention young poets, jugglers, singers, comics, musicians and more: come share your talents at the third monthly Saturday Night Open Mic For Newtown Youth Grades 5-12 this coming Saturday, December 21st, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm in the Great Room at Newtown Congregational Church, 14 West Street. Suggested donation is $1.00. Adult family members attending are invited to bring a drink or snack to share. Sign up starts at 6:45 pm. Microphones, keyboard, guitar amp and more will be available. Live music only please. There is no early sign-up before 6:45 pm Saturday December 21st, however doors will be open by 6:15 if some wish to wait in line to sign up. We have space for about twenty performers so the time limit per spot is about five minutes. Sign-up is first come, first serve. Youth under grade six must have a parent or guardian present.
