Morello to Host Dinner Event with Italian Winery

Terrabianca wines will be paired with special dishes created by Executive Chef Kevin Garcia

Greenwich, C.T. (September 10, 2013) – Morello invites guests to attend an evening celebration of the wonderful wines of Terrabianca Winery on Thursday, September 19 at 7 p.m. Terrabianca Winery Manager Francesco Russo will be the evening’s guest speaker, joining all the way from Tuscany, Italy to bring a selection of exquisite wines to Morello.

Presented by MARC Wine Director Olivier Flosse and Morello Sommelier John Freitas, Morello Executive Chef Kevin Garcia will create special dishes to be paired with the wines, including:

-        Seared scallops with heirloom beans and chorizo, paired with Duca di Monte Maggiore Blanc de Blancs, Tuscany, 2011

-        Pappardelle with porcini ragu, paired with Terrabianca Chianti Classico, Tuscany, 2009

-        Braised veal cheeks with cavolo nero and horseradish cremolato, paired with Terrabianca Campaccio, Tuscany, 2008
