Happy Birthday, Mary Hawley!
Open House to Honor Mary Elizabeth Hawley Thursday, August 22
The Edmond Town Hall Board of Managers is hosting an open house in honor of Mary Elizabeth Hawley’s birthday on Thursday, August 22 from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm at the Edmond Town Hall, 45 Main Street.
“We invite residents and others to stop by the Mary Hawley Memorial Room to sign the guest book and share in some refreshments,” said James Juliano, Chairman of the Board.

Newtown’s beloved benefactress is best known for her generosity to the community. She donated the Edmond Town Hall, The Hawley School and the Cyrenius H. Booth Library as well as the Soldiers and Sailors monument located at the head of Main Street. Ms. Hawley would have been 156 years old.
