MONROE, CT - The Discovery Zone at Webb Mountain is very pleased to announce that it is offering “Discovering Autumn”, a preschool program for four and five year olds and their parents or caregivers beginning in September. The weekly preschool program follows the successful launch earlier this year of “Discovering Spring”. Preschool enrichment programs support the Discovery Zone mission to introduce nature to children at an early age, so its benefits will last a lifetime.
Offered at 2pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, each weekly program will feature a different story and craft at the Discovery Zone outdoor classroom and a walk along the trails tying in the day’s theme.
Tom Ellbogen, Director of the Discovery Zone stated: “We are very pleased to extend our preschool enrichment program for the fall, continuing our commitment to making young children’s initial encounter with nature a fun, positive experience. Interacting in a natural setting at an early age offers unsurpassed opportunities for mental, emotional and physical growth and our rich and varied ecosystem provides the perfect platform to offer children a stimulating experience. This is further enhanced by the shared experience of an important adult person in the child’s life over the course of the five-week program.”
The program will last one hour and is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning September 11th and 13th. Each 5-week block of programs is available for $25 per child. For more information, visit www.webbmountaindiscoveryzone.com or email at email@example.com
