SOUTHBURY, CONN., July 19, 2012 - Revèe is a new spa that offers non-invasive technology assisted cosmetic procedures, including LipoLight a body contouring and fat cell reduction technique; HydraFacial, a gentler and natural alternative to Microdermabrasion; and TC3000 - Vein Erase for small veins on the face and legs. When Ms. Morgan and Dr. Tekula were researching and testing the efficacy of the Lipo-Light device, they learned that people with body fat percentages over 30 needed a good nutritional plan to accelerate their results. Ms. Morgan was a prime candidate with a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 44%, she registered high on the obesity scale. She joined a weight loss program called TLS and lost 45 pounds, going from a size 18W to a 10 and her BMI is now 24%. Morgan stated, "I knew the combination of eating right along with my Lipo-Light treatments allowed me to make such a dramatic transformation safely in a twelve week program."
To further prove their hypothesis, Revèe brought in April Ritchotte, a TLS weight loss coach to run a five week nutritional accelerated program in June and July. Participants are nearly done and of the ten people in class, three are also doing Lipo-Light to show the difference in inches versus pounds lost. And just as important, the impact Lipo-Light and TLS has on the BMI and Visceral fat statistics. (Visceral fat is the fat which surrounds your organs, higher numbers are indicators of chronic illnesses such as heart disease and diabetes).
Roz Ross, a Revèe client, had similar starting statistics as Ms. Morgan. Ms. Ross originally signed up for Lipo-Light without doing a corresponding nutritional program.
