The Newtown Lions Club Foundation has established a special fund to aid the families of the victims as well as the first responders and others affected by the tragic events at the Sandy Hook Elementary School. Our first priority will be providing financial support for immediate and long term counseling services for the first responders. Additional funds will be used to contribute to a suitable permanent memorial or other needs that will be identified in the coming weeks and months.
The Newtown Lions Club Foundation is a recognized 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Tax deductible donations may be made on line at www.newtownlions.com or by sending a check made out to the Newtown Lions Club Foundation/SHEF, to P.O. Box 218, Newtown CT 06470. 100% of all funds raised will be used for the victims of this horrific event. There are no administrative costs.
