Sandy Hook – To inspire healing and help recovery of the
heart, you are invited to join us for “Healing the Heart”, an adult mini yoga retreat on Sunday, February 10th. This dedicated day of healing will take place from 11a.m. – 4p.m. at The Graceful Planet, 7 Berkshire Road, Sandy
Hook to support Sandy Hook Peaceful Arts, a non-profit corporation (501c3 pending).
Specially designed yoga classes and relaxation techniques
have been planned beginning at 11am. Classes offered will be Therapeutic yoga, Kripalu yoga, Pre/Post Natal and Yoga Dance with drumming. Meditation, chair massage and Reiki will also be available throughout the day. A delicious
catered healthy lunch will be available.
This is a free event with donations accepted to support a
new non-profit organization Sandy Hook Peaceful Arts. Peaceful Arts is a grassroots effort comprised of local parents, artists, dancers, writers, musicians, educators and small business owners who are committed to a fostering
healing through the arts. We also engage in and provide educational opportunities in peaceful practices to enhance overall well being in Sandy Hook, Newtown and surrounding areas.
