Good Grief Seminar

On Saturday February 9, 2013 from
10:00am until 12:00 noon at The Meeting House, 31 Main Street in
Newtown, Rev. Jim Solomon, Pastor of New Hope Community Church and
Director of Jim Solomon Counseling Services, LLC, will lead a seminar
entitled “Good Grief.” He will focus on hope and healing in the
aftermath of the Sandy Hook tragedy. Thoughts and guidance will be

shared regarding not only the psychological but also the emotional,
mental, physical, relational and spiritual effects of grief in our
lives. Jim will focus on steps that can be taken to rise above what
would hold us below in our thoughts, words, actions, attitudes and
behavioral patterns as we move forward in living our lives after so
many have lost theirs. The seminar is free of charge and is open to
the entire community. “Door prizes,” namely books and other
materials relevant to the grieving process, will be given on a “first
come first served” basis. To register, please email
