A Night Out to Support Sandy Hook Elementary School
When: January 19th at 7:30PM, Live Music starts at 8:00PM Where: Bar None on 87 Elizabeth Street in Derby, CT Event Details: $10 at the door, Live Bands and Cash Bar (All Proceeds benefit the Sandy Hook School Support Fund, managed by the United Way of Western Connecticut in partnership with Newtown Savings Bank.In 1999, in response to the school shooting at Columbine High School, students at Ansonia High School created Students Against Violence, a group whose purpose was to show people that teenagers were aware of what was going on in the world and willing to stand up and do something about it. Now, over a decade later, we watch tragedy once again strike in our nation's schools, only this time-right here in our own backyard. Former members of Students Against Violence are joining together to show their support for Newtown and Sandy Hook by hosting a fundraiser that will support the Sandy Hook School Support Fund. Donations will be collected at the door, cash bar is available and all proceeds go directly to the Fund. Live Music featuring Crash 21, will begin at 8PM. In Addition, State Farm of Newtown will be present at this event to make a donation.

This is a charitable fundraiser and 100% of the money raised from this year's contest goes to Newtown's First Responders and the My Sandy Hook Family Fund - the only charity that is giving every penny it collects to the 26 families who lost loved ones.

And distorts, and name calls, and spins spins spins. Newsmax is no better. But, the lying should not be allowed because there are some many in society that are gullible or just plain dumb - or both - so they actually believe these things to be true - not because they are true but because they WANT THEM to be true. It gives them self-justification for their hatred.

There is no evidence that Obama knew anything about the Benghazi incident before it happened, there is no statement or evidence that Obama condones or even knew about the IRS tactics - and to call them "thugish" is just plain name calling. It was questioning and investigating - as they can and should do, just with a SLIGHT bias towards Tea Party groups (70 out of hundreds). So get your facts straight, stop the name calling and get over the presidential hatred. I'd like to hear your opinion about lying about weapons of mass destruction to get us into an illegal war in Iraq, or even your opinion of the Iran-Contra scandal - unless of course you believe it is only Democrats that are worthy of criticism.
