Thoughts

I never know what to write when I'm writing in a blog.  Sometimes, my mind is so full of thoughts, that it's almost impossible to put these thoughts into writing.  I love so many things about life, have so many opinions, and think of so many issues.  Other times, I take to my keyboard, and my mind is blank.

So I'll tell you why I chose to be a photographer.

Let's go back to my first encounters with photography and cameras.  My dad was always the one behind the camera growing up, and he was always capable of taking these pictures that, to this day, still bring floods of memories.  When I was about 7 or so, my grandmother gave me a Polaroid (yes, one of those...).  I spent hours upon hours taking pictures of the most random things.  Hardly any of the photos turned out, but I still had a blast, and thought I was quite cool for having a Polaroid.

Fast forward.  My dad gave me a camera a few months ago, and also facilitated my use of all Adobe software.  I began taking photos of anything and everything, editing the crap out of most of them.  After a bit, I realized that I can, indeed, take great photographs of just about anything.

I had a light bulb moment.  I realized that I might as well capitalize on my newfound talents.  So here I am, starting my own photography business.
