Reindeer Herders in My Heart: Hear registered nurse Sas Carey, the author of "Reindeer Herders in My Heart," tell the story of her latest trip to Mongolia. Starts at 6:30 p.m.

Comfort Dogs at Sandy Hook Promise: Comfort dogs Cashew and Nutmeg will make their Newtown debut at Sandy Hook Promise's offices at at 4 p.m. Open to the public.

Jay Willie Blues Band: It's the last summer concert of the year, so if you haven't made it to Dickinson Park for music, this is your last chance. Jay Willie Blues Band plays at 6:30 p.m.
